A nodule is a primary skin lesion that is a raised, often round solid lesion that is greater than 0.5cm in diameter. A large nodule is referred to as tumor. [1]
Common conditions associated with nodules include:
- Basal cell carcinoma
- Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
- furuncle
- hemangioma
- Kaposi's sarcoma
- lipoma
- Lymphoma
- Melanoma
- Squamous cell carcinoma
- Warts
- Xanthoma.
