A Complete Blood Count, also known as CBC, refers to a series of tests that are used to measure the basic status of red and white blood cells.[1], [2]

Discussion

A CBC includes:

  • Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV)
  • Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH)
  • Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC)
  • Red Blood Cell Distribution Width (RDW)
