The modus operandi of homeopathy is simply to match the symptoms of the remedy with the symptoms of the patient. This is called the 'Law of Similars. Any substance will cause certain symptoms when given in excess, yet this same substance will cure those symptoms when give in minute dosage form. symptoms are an expression of self-healing, rather than an expression of a disease per se.[1]
