A plaque is a primary skin lesion that is solid and elevated and greater than 10mm in diameter. It is often formed by the confluence of papules.[1]

Conditions associated with plaques include:

  • eczema
  • cutaneos T-cell lymphoma
  • lichen planus
  • pityriasis rosea
  • psoriasis
  • seborrheic dermatitis
  • tinea corporis
  • tinea versicolor.
