About the Author: Dr Shehab El-Hashemy, MBChB, ND, received his medical degree from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine and his naturopathic degree from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). An Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in charge of curriculum planning at CCNM, he is also an attending naturopathic physician at Anishnawbe Health Toronto, a publicly funded community health center, and runs a private practice in Oshawa, Ontario.

Dr Jared Skowron is a professor of naturopathic medicine at the University of Bridgeport and author of Fundamentals of Naturopathic Pediatrics.

Dr Lorinda Sorensen is a professor of naturopathic geriatrics at the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago
