The musculoskeletal system can be likened to a pulley and lever system in which the key to structal balance is in an equal pull by opposing muscles groups from each side of the joint. An imbalance between the forces usually results in a difference of range of motion and muscular strength.[1] A number of symptoms and conditions are common in the musculoskeletal system including:
